Technologies and Facilities
The Global Ambient Intelligence Network (GAIN) is one of the programs housed in the CIDLAB at UNH. Its purpose is to enhance the dependability of vital systems and networks by linking sensor, reconfigurable system-on-chip processor, ad-hoc wireless network communications and interactive 3D data visualization core technology development.
- CIDLab Europe will eventually be located in the new ETI building at the Gdansk University of technology (under construction) and offer extra-mural access to Test facility at the Gdansk/Gdynia harbors.
- CIDLab USA located in Kingsbury Hall at the University of New Hampshire with extra-mural access to a Test facility at the Portsmouth, NH/Portland, ME harbors (agreement in progress)
Additional Test facilities can be located on cargo/container ships moving between European harbors, especially Gdansk and Gdynia and Canada and New England harbors such as Portland, ME and Portsmouth, NH (agreements in progress)
